I started this website December 2005, when I received webspace as a Christmas present. It may seem like an odd gift, but nothing could have been more perfect. Since its conception indigitalcircles.com has experienced numerous design changes as I have learned more about design. You can see some of these changes by viewing the webfolio.

It began as a way to build design practice and move traffic to my blog. I've since added links to my teaching websites and as I began studying for my comprehensive exams for my Ph.D. I included reading lists and bibliographies.

Being the kind of thinker I am, often means my ideas connect to other ideas which connect to other ideas in sort of an idea map of interconnected thoughts. To visualize this process, I often use circles like Venn diagrams to show how my thoughts are connected. Thus, the name for the site was born. Because
