Welcome to "a brief guide
to integrating technology in the writing classroom"

If you are wondering how to use the computer and other technologies effectively in the writing classroom, you've found what I hope will be a resource for you. You might be asking yourself the following: What can I do? How do I assign projects that allow students to raise important questions about computers and other technologies? Where do I start?

Welcome to one of many places to begin.

Introduction

Quotable
[To] say computers have no value is much like saying books have no value. Obviously some books are poorly written, outdated, or not valuable for a particular reader for any number of reasons. That’s partly why there are a lot of books out there. Computer technology is equally varied. Saying computer technology has no value for you in teaching is roughly equivalent with saying “I don’t cotton much to that there book learnin.’”
